During our first safari experience, we met many tourists who lacked awareness of the local culture and the real impact of their travels. We were struck by how much of the tourism revenue flows to large foreign companies, leaving local communities with little benefit.

This realization sparked a mission: to reimagine tourism as a force for good.

We brought together like-minded individuals who believe in creating meaningful change and offering authentic experiences. Our safari company was founded on the principles of fair pay, social responsibility, and cultural respect. We collaborate with local NGOs, ensure our team is treated and paid fairly, and educate our clients about the true dynamics of tourism in Tanzania.

It was born from a moment that made us smile—and made us think about the tourism industry.

While on safari, a curious guest asked what to do if she suddenly encountered a lion. Our guides reassured her that it was extremely rare, but she kept asking. Eventually, someone joked:

“Well, you just add a little salt, a little pepper, and say Bon appétit.”

It was a lighthearted moment, but it revealed something important: many travelers arrive excited, but with little understanding of the culture, environment, or impact of their journey.
